Londolozi Game Reserve. An early morning at Londolozi, Matt Rochford trailed a mother leopard and her spirited young daughter as they moved quietly through the wilderness. As they entered a dense patch of bush-willows, the mother abruptly stopped—her eyes fixed on a herd of impalas ahead. With poise and precision, she observed silently… and then disappeared into the brush.
Her daughter, brimming with youthful enthusiasm, unintentionally exposed their presence. But in a surprising twist of luck, the fleeing impalas ran directly into the mother’s perfectly positioned trap.
